Looking at the standings in the Central Division, you would say the Bismarck Bobcats are in a world of hurt. But those of us who work inside the VFW walls refuse to believe it. Until the calendar reads March, the Bismarck Bobcats are not out of anything. Going into this weekend series against Minot, the Bobcats sit 10 points behind the Tauros. Layne Sedevie told this staff writer about how the Bobcats need to start accumulating points. He believes that Bismarck is a good hockey team, with a great fan base. The Bobcat fans need to be rewarded, and what better way to reward the fan base than with a win on Friday night? As far as Hunter Shepherd, when he played on Friday, I noticed they pulled him out early. Layne thought he played great on Saturday, and so did the guys in front of him, and the scoreboard showed it with a 4-1 Bobcat triumph.
