I never thought that a NAHL team from South Dakota, the Aberdeen Wings, could out hustle and outwork the two teams from the Peace Garden State. A majority of this credit should go to Wings Head Coach Scott Langer and some should go to St. Cloud State commit Kevin Fitzgerald because he gave the Bismarck Bobcats fitz. The Bobcats had no answer for him this past regular season, as did the Minot Minotauros in the first round of the playoffs, which probably explains why the Central Division Cup now resides at the Odde Ice Center in Aberdeen.
In my opinion, Scott Langer is nothing but class, because Scott and I have been rekindling an old friendship from his days with the Bobcats in the late 1990’s. Most of you who read this website know that I will treat other teams with respect and fairness when they come here to play the Bismarck Bobcats.
