The Sheriff is distinctly honored to take you off the ice and introduce you to another Bobcat family member who helps put on Bobcat hockey when the boys are in the friendly confines, and into a place where no fan is able to visit. I would personally like to give a big shout out to the voice of your Bismarck Bobcats, Andrew J. Weiss. He was en route to Cloquet, Minnesota where the Bobcats were getting set to do battle with the Wilderness, and hopefully make them quiet. While he was on the way to hopefully bringing the 1270 listening audience a Bobcat growling, he took time out of his long bus ride to assist me with going inside the Bobcats training room. Let’s meet Brendon Ehrlich, the Bobcats’ head trainer, who has one of the toughest assignments in the NAHL – keeping our Bobcats healthy and ready to hopefully play in May. He stated that becoming a trainer takes between 5-7 years. Brendon takes over for Blaine Shiner, who used to be the Bobcats head trainer. Put your paws together for Brendon Ehrlich, who also assists with Bobcats opponents when the other team doesn’t bring a trainer. We asked Ehrlich how many players he can have in the training room at one time, and he responded that he could work with a lot of players at one time. Before becoming a Bobcat, Brendan had assisted with other teams. It was my pleasure to take you, the best fans in the league, into a place that no other media outlet would be allowed.
