When the going gets tough, the tough get going. On Sunday afternoon, the Indiana Pacers had to rely on their leader Mr. Victor Oladipo once again to pull another game out of the fire, overcoming a 19 point deficit, with a career high 47 points against the Denver “Mc”Nuggets. Oladipo managed to put a lot of barbeque sauce himself on Denver with his performance of going 15 for 28 from the field with six of those being 3-pointers and another 11 for 13 from the charity stripe
Oladipo continues to look like #31 Reggie Miller. If I would be other teams in the NBA Eastern Conference, I would try right away to shut him down, because he has been excellent all season long for the Pacers. I would not want to deal with him in the playoffs, because he can hurt you from the word go. He knows what to do with the basketball in big time situations.
The Pacers next opponent is someone very familiar to them as former Pacer Paul “Curious” George makes a return to Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Wednesday evening as Oladipo also gets his first shot at his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. So you can bet there will be plenty of booing every time George has the ball. This will not be a game for people who have weak stomachs, because Paul George will want to get back at his former team. I’ve got news for you “Curious” George, Indiana does not like you any more, and you will hear it from the crowd. We love our Oladipo!
