Green Bay has little to play for on Saturday evening except for a winning record for the season when the two rivals line up at Lambeau Field in Wisconsin, but the Minnesota Vikings will have everything to lose as they try to maintain their position for a first round bye and home game for the NFC playoffs this season.

My personal choice for Jeremiahboyce.com player of the game will come from one of these two players, Tight End Kyle Rudolph, or Detroit Lakes, MN native Adam “I got a” Thielen, depending on who quarterback Case Keenum finds open the most. Thielen was just chosen for his first NFL Pro Bowl Game this last week, and will be joined by defensive players linebacker Anthony “Crow” Barr, cornerback Xavier “Marks the Spot” Rhodes, and defensive lineman Everson “Help Me Name my Son” Griffen.

Since the Packers have just placed Quarterback Aaron “Just Relax” Rodgers on injured reserve for the remaining two games of their season, the Vikings can go after starting quarterback Brett Hundley like they did the last time they played the Packers at U.S.Bank Stadium in Minneapolis after Rodgers suffered his broken collarbone on October 15th. I can’t see Hundley and the Packers offense having success against the loaded Vikings defense, which also includes these following players who I feel also should have been named to the Pro Bowl: defensive lineman Linval Joseph, linebacker Eric Kendricks, and safety Harrison (Hitman) Smith.

I expect to hear Vikings radio play by play man Paul Allen say “TOUCHDOWN VIKINGS!” three to four times on Saturday night, and radio analyst Pete Bercich to enjoy his former team tearing apart a few cheeseheads at Lambeau Field
