Stop me if you have “herd” this before. The Bison have been laying cow pies all season long on opponents, and are two wins away from “Klieman” the top of the mountain for FCS football for the sixth consecutive time. Once again, they have good team unity even though players continue to move on to the National Football League and other doings in their lives.

Year after year, the Bison continue to defend their top ranking in FCS football, which is a credit to Chris Klieman and his staff. The Bison don’t show any quit, just as they did this last Saturday agains rival South Dakota State after falling behind 10 – 0 in the first quarter.

The scary thing is that quarterback Easton Stick is only a sophomore. He has time to grow into a another Carson Wentz. No one can replace Wentz, but Stick has the capabilities to play on Sunday in my opinion. He shows great leadership with his calmness in the huddle and shows no signs of getting rattled when things don’t go as planned.

Therefore, if the Bison win a sixth straight national title, my MVP would go to Stick because of the way Easton and the offense kept the SDSU defense off balance from the second quarter on with long drives that were eating up the clock and leading to points for the Bison.
