Orlando, Florida. Hi, Pacer Nation. I’m sorry to say this to you, but Frank Vogel put together a masterpiece of a season with the former Minneapolis Lakers, currently residing in LA. Frank had never been on top of the NBA, he had always had to deal with Indiana, a state that is very near and dear to me, when he was coaching the Pacers. But then the Pacers brass unceremoniously fired Frank, and look where he is now, Indiana. Until you can get your garbage together, you will never win a title. Frank needed a change of scenery, and players that actually listen to his philosophy of basketball. It all came together on Sunday night in the Walt Disney World Resort, where the NBA handed out the hardware that Indiana will never get as long as they don’t have team unity.
The untimely untimely death of the Mamba, aka Kobe Bryant, after a plane crash that involved his daughter rocked the Lakers organization like an E5 on the Richter scale. They were on their way to a children’s basketball game with Kobe and seven other participants. The former Laker will forever be in all of the NBA’s hearts. It’s going to be really hard to dethrone the Lakers as long as LeBron is with them. The West will be controlled by the NBA champions for as long as LeBron wants to be king.
