Tonight’s game is in the house that Michael built. Michael did most of the flying in there for six championships. But the Bulls have not tasted success since the day of MJ’s departure. Tonight, the only team that will fly at the UC will be your Indiana Pacers. After they put a you’re not welcome beating on the Knicks, I expect Mr. Oladipo and TJ “Miller” Warren to do the same thing to the lowly steers. There should be no reason why Emmis Communications and JMB and Eddie Gill shouldn’t be able to pump their fists at Chuck Swirsky and Bill Wennington and give them nothing to celebrate tonight. I know that the Pacers are only 1-0, and that we are going to have to go deer hunting sooner or later, but for right now, it’s kind of nice for the Pacers to beat on some of these lowly D League teams like the Bulls or the Knicks, which we just hammered. The dinosaur brand of basketball will continue until the Pacers lead the rest of the NBA. No one is going to catch the blue and gold this year, not even Frank Vogel. Orlando will be unable to perform magic against the blue and gold, and they will also out shine the Suns.
