On Wisconsin! Usually, you would hear “On Wisconsin” and you would think football at Madison. But all eyes were on the state of Wisconsin last night, and number 34 had a game for the ages, scoring 50 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a night that all Bucks fans would be proud of. For the Bucks it was their first title since 1971. The Suns got clouded over by 34 and the rest of his Bucks teammates. Giannis did his best MJ impression by garnering the Most Valuable Player award and the Larry O’Brien trophy. When you win the year after, it’s hard to defend, so move over, Wisconsin, here come the Pacers next year. They will pace the NBA and Myles Turner will be NBA Finals MVP. The Pacers have a new piston in the engine named Rick Carlisle, who I expect to get Coach of the Year if everybody stays healthy.
