Indianapolis, Indiana. After a less than sterling preseason that meant absolutely nothing, Larry Bird is back in his home state, and is the president of basketball operations for the Pacers. The one thing that makes me excited is the amount of changes that Larry made over the summer. Larry and Donny are committed to bringing the fans of the Pacers a great basketball moment. It seems like only yesterday that the Pacers were in the eastern conference championship where they fell short of making it back the the NBA finals by one game. Now the Pacers are just over 24 hours away from opening night. All of the disappointment of what the blue and gold didn’t do one year ago can be relieved by a new team with pieces that Larry added.
