Bismarck, ND. After leaving the All Seasons Arena and wondering if we would ever see the real five-time champions on the ice again, in the privacy of my own home, I was able to enjoy two wins over the biggest villain in the league. If you are a Bobcat, you have to understand that the Bruins are your biggest competition. And for five straight years, we have basically owned them in the playoffs. I thought what they did to us at Riverside was totally uncalled for. Letting their PA system play “We Are the Champions” after only one series at Riverside was classless. This series felt even sweeter because we got four points on them, even though we let them get away with one point due to an overtime. I thought we battled through it, and Nellie did a good job of remembering what I told him on Wednesday. I told him that I hated the Bruins with a passion. I don’t like the way Chris Tok plays his brand of hockey. Seth Blair did not need to bring our crowd into it the way he did, but that’s Seth. Overall, it was a great weekend to be a Bobcat staff writer. I was very proud. The people I am most proud of are Garrett Roth and Coach Sedevie, who came back from one of the most disheartening losses and put together something special for the Bobcat fans to see.
