This is the first time that two teams from the same conference will battle for the crown. Here are the keys to the Bison taking the crown home to Fargo: making sure they put pressure on Illinois State at all times, and making sure they hang on to the ball. The Bison defense needs to make sure they can defend and tackle really well, sometimes even three or four Bison need to be there on the play. The fans should expect to see Illinois State being nervous for the game. The Bison should not be nervous at all; they’ve been there three times so they should know what to expect, and all three times they have come out on top. So why not make it four times? There is no reason why the championship should not come back with the Bison. They have a junior as quarterback, and they have a roster full of seniors who know what it takes to win a championship. Just based on player experience, the Bison look like they have a better chance at winning. Will the Cardinals be chirping at the end of the day?
