None of this would have been possible without a group of seniors who were willing to buy into Chris Klieman’s philosophy and stick with it all year long to get to the top, with 15 wins and only 1 blemish, coming at the hands of UNI from the Unidome in Cedar Falls Iowa. The questions will start early – what can the Bison do for an encore? I believe the future is bright for the Bison, even though they are losing a lot of senior leadership, like John Crockett, Zach Vraa, and Carlton Littlejohn. But as Chris Klieman likes to say, “Next man up.” Who is to say the Bison will not get 5? They have Carson Wentz coming back, so anything is possible. The rest of the country might be getting sick of smelling Bison pies every year, but all of us in the state of North Dakota would like to see more of it. More power to you Chris Klieman.
