Indiana is a basketball hot bed lately, except for the boys from West Lafayette. OK, Pacers, you earned your coverage on Jeremiahboyce.com. What you guys are doing is something to proud of. The Indiana Pacers have earned the right to be talked about on this website. The Pacers did something they haven’t done in quite a while by going on the road and dealing with a team that they should have beaten any way. It wasn’t the way that they beat the 76ers that was impressive to me. It was how sharp they were after playing two games in a row at home, and winning them both. Against the Bulls, they stuck them with their second “L” against Indiana and held them to 100 points. And then to do it the same way against Atlanta. Then to sweep all three games is remarkable! Usually, you would think that in basketball, regardless if it’s the Pacers, IU, or even Purdue, they would have a mental break down. The Pacers are coming into their own brand of basketball, and they are fundamentally sound. Oh yea, and did I mention 15 straight wins at home? Who needs Mr. Miller when we have a leadership group that can play as a high level like Mr. Miller? If you need any more proof why the Pacers are being talked about so highly right now, look at who they have beaten! Yes, they have beaten the Bulls, but get this Pacer fans, your Indiana Pacers have taken care of the defending champions twice, and sit in the number three spot in the entire Eastern Conference. So am I saying that they wouldn’t like to have employee number 33 helping. I’m not saying that a basketball team doesn’t need one of its weapons helping, but the Indiana Pacers have done it without Danny, because they have a group of players out on the floor who can get it done when they really believe in themselves. The Pacers can go in to May or June and join their WNBA counterparts, the Fever.
