Bloomington, Indiana. Just when you thought it was safe to come into Assembly Hall, the Hoosiers lay claim to number one in the country again. Last week is over, now they go to Champaign Illinois, back to a familiar spot. Number one means nothing, unless you play your best on the road. I think Cody and Vic know that Illinois is a very good team, so I would not count out the Illini. Just because Cody, Tom, and Victor have a number in front of them doesn’t mean anything. They better be ready to play good Indiana basketball. The University of Illinois would love nothing better than to knock off the number one team. Just because the Hoosiers had a good game against Michigan, that game is over. Focus on Illinois! I think it will come down to two benches and ball movement. Also, out working Illinois and just playing a tough brand of Hoosier basketball. So don’t give me any bull. If I know how the Hoosiers have been playing they have been tough all year, so I don’t expect the Hoosiers to back down, not even in Champaign. The job is not finished. We should be able to carry number one all the way to the national championship. I really think these Hoosiers have a chance to be like 1987 all over again.
