As was the case with the Demons head coach, Coach Wingenbach said the hands favorite to win West are the Minot High Magicians. Wingenbach went on to say that Minot has a lot a returners from last season. When it comes to the quarterback position, the Patriots have to rely on a sophomore, Dalton Feeney. The Patriots have one other player who will be challenging Dalton for the quarterback position, a junior named Chris Kraft. The Patriots will not see Mark Gibson and his Bismarck Demons until game number seven. I asked Wingenbach if it would matter that the two teams don’t meet until game seven. Coach Wingenbach stated that “it doesn’t matter when you play them.” He went on to state that “you better be ready to play every Friday night in the West region, or else any given team can jump up and bite you.” The head coach also went on to say that just like the Demons, the Patriots will be strong on the defensive side of the ball. Wingenbach also said that is where the Patriots have the most returners. As for the former Patriot quarterback Jared Fischer, he went on to play for Morehead State University in Minnesota. Jeremiahboyce.com will be at the Pats practice on Friday, August 16th. Patriot fans, please feel free to leave a comment and share any questions you would like the media to ask the coach, or some of your red white and blue players. We will make an effort to check up with the players you want to hear from the most!
