Detroit, MI. This is inexcusable I do not care that Baltimore beat Cleveland. Why in heavens name did you not come out ready to play? Except Miggy, he made a few errors but the guy is only human. The Tigers must take tonight seriously and even the series at one. This is not how you get to 50 wins! You can’t allow a last place team like the Angels come into your jungle and tattoo your starting pitcher. Jeff Jones and Jim Leyland should not have to make repeated trips to the mound. The Tigers know how to play better than that! Five runs is just not except able at home or on the road. The Tigers have a much better offense than that. As for Miggy, I said it earlier and I will say it again the guy is only human. Miguel is going to have a bad night he is not superman. As for Rick Porcello he knows he is better than that! Giving up eight runs is totally inexcusable. The only thing that will stop the Tigers in the playoffs will be the area I have been talking about all season long, the bull pen. I don’t know Tiger fans, this loss has me scratching my head. After a great weekend where we took the 1st place team in the American League East and had taken three out of four from them. Last night to me is just a bunch of garbage! when you give up 14 runs total that is just total horse manure! If this post sounds like i’m upset Tiger fans, I am because i’m left scratching my head. I want to know where the Porcello is that I saw with my own eyes on June 14th? On June 14th Porcello was unbeatable, and here it is a few weeks later and he lets the last place team tattoo him. Here is what to watch for tonight, or listen for. Listen for the Tiger to roar tonight. If I was Jim Leyland I would give each player a slap on their behinds, and tell everyone of them to beat the Angels! Now lets give credit where credit is due. The Angels sounded like nothing but a last place team I would hope that the Tigers come out swinging the bat and be aggressive on LA’s starting pitcher. Who ever is going tonight for the Tigers half is going to have to be ready to come out with their A game. There is no reason why the Angels should be able to sweep us in our own jungle. It’s just ridiculous how the Tigers played last night. They played like the Mud Hens. This can’t be for those who have qweezey stomachs but I will tell it like I see it. There is one bright spot, and that is last night is over and we just need to focus on tonight. We also just need to play a better brand of baseball. Its not Leyland’s fault it’s the players that wear the Uniform. Those players need to represent the old english “D” better than what they did last night. We just can’t have errors and expect victory from them. This is the major league this isn’t Toledo Ohio! This is Detroit! Where you get paid to be super stars and you also get paid the big bucks to play major league baseball. If you want to play minor league baseball than go where the buildings aren’t tall! You can’t play minor league baseball where the buildings are tall. You have represent the old english”D” with class and dignity.
