Although the Irish ended the 2012 season no. 2, they started the season no. 17 in the country, which is a joke considering that Ohio State is where the Irish should have been. The Buckeyes weren’t even allowed to play for a conference title due to NCAA violations, which makes a mockery of the BCS. The BCS should be ashamed of itself because Notre Dame deserves to be no. 2. Brian Kelly would have gotten my 2012 coach of the year. This year, game no. 2 is in the maize and blue house, the home of the Wolverines. To make matters even more surprising, Cedric Olsen is no longer with the Irish due to academic troubles. Which gives the starting job to a 5th year senior, Tommy Reese. Tommy tore apart the Temple Owls on Saturday before the first quarter was over. The alleged number seventeen team in the country was up fourteen to zero. They would go on to win the game by a final of twenty-eight to six. In other Irish news, Tyler Eifert was at the game watching his former teammates, as well as Manti Te’o who is with the San Diego Chargers. As far as the current Irish, I think the BCS will be laughed at at the end of the year because the Buckeyes will not be in Pasadena. It will be a repeat of last year, because the Irish are not a fluke and the Tide will roll over the SEC. It’s high tide in Tuscaloosa because of a man that should have never left Spartan Nation. Nick Saban and Brian Kelly are on a collision path once again.
