Indianapolis, Indiana. Everyone is talking about Kobe Bryant this, and Kobe Bryant that. Well everyone, he is hurt! So who do the Lakers have that are any good? What we have here, ladies and gentlemen, are two teams preparing for two different situations. The LA Lakers are preparing for the draft, and meanwhile the Indiana Pacers are preparing for the playoffs, and a possible parade. President Bird has his eye on one thing only, and that is the Larry O’Brien trophy. That has been the case since day one with this team, and anyone who doesn’t know that is full of bologna in my opinion. Granger is now with Philadelphia, and as far as I’m concerned it’s Danny who? The Pacers now get Evan Turner along with Lavoy Allen. I have yet to ask Mark Boyle his opinion of the new Pacers, but it will be interesting to find out what both Mr. Boyle, and Mr. Leonard have to say about the changes that Mr. Bird had made. Personally I think it was a good move for Indiana, because we now don’t have to worry about Danny and his injury anymore. Sorry to say that, Pacers fans. Danny never played basketball the way the Pacers fans grew accustomed to him playing after he got hurt. As far as Lance Stephenson and the nonsense that he pulled in front of me last Wednesday, he better cut it out. The Pacers are trying to win a championship, and he doesn’t need to be throwing a towel in front of Pacers fans. I expect Roy Hibbert to have a field day with the Lakers’ defense. I think that the Pacers should be able to run and gun with the Lakers, but the Pacers should take their time and get into their offensive set and don’t rush the offense. When I was at the Target Center, I noticed that the Pacers were rushing the offense and that was terrible, so therefore they were turning the ball over. I also expect the Pacers fans to be at their best and give the new players a warm heartland welcome. You can expect more Pacers coverage with a familiar person as time allows.
