Detroit, Michigan. Most fans know that I don’t beat around the bush on this website. We can’t be sure that a baseball game was played at Comerica Park. Maybe the Tigers watch too many games of the Lions, because we don’t know where the real Tigers are, and we still haven’t seen them in a long time. All we know for sure is that when Dan and Jim show up to work, they do not say welcome to Ford Field they say good evening and welcome to a hot and steamy downtown Detroit at Comerica Park, but the Tigers are looking more and more like the Lions. As the calendar is in the final days of August, the Tigers apparently have picked up some bad habits from their counter parts the Lions. They look nothing like a championship team lately. They look like a disgrace to the city of Detroit, and they also look like they belong at Ford field with the Lions. Today Max Scherzer tries for win number 20 on the season. They will also try to get the pride back in the old English “D”. The Tigers try and avoid a four game sweep at the hands of Oakland before the Tribe comes to town to begin the series of the season. If the Tigers want any respect from other media outlets including this one, then I have a suggestion for the Tigers. Please quit looking like the Lions, and return to the baseball team that the city of Detroit loves. This is a make or break series staring on Friday. The Tigers have to get at least one of these games with Oakland or if they don’t then they are going to into the biggest series of the year having lost four straight games to the Oakland A’s of all teams. If I was Dan and Jim I would start praticing my touchdown calls and say touchdown Oakland athletics. Oakland now leads the Tigers seven to nothing. This whole series has been a nightmare and a joke to cover for this reporter. The Tigers need to knock it off before Cleveland comes to town! If I was Dave Dombrowski I would be making sure everyone checks their media passes to see if they still say Comerica Park, or maybe they should say Toleto Mud Hens?
