On Monday night, one of the golden voices of the NBA was really fun to listen to. Mark Boyle was on the call with former Pacer Eddie Gill, for game one of the play in tournament against the Hornets, who they annihilated. Now the Pacers are in another situation where they have no choice to win, or their season is dead. Tonight’s game will be on the road where they will attempt to sweep the play in tournament against Washington.
I like the NBA play-in tournament, because it reminds me of March madness. But now the NBA has found a silver lining. The reason why I say silver lining is due to Adam Silver, the new David Sternhead. I have nothing but respect for Adam Silver. He’s not a dingleberry like David Stern used to be. I really am proud of the NBA the way they have the play in tournament in the west and in the east. Listening to Memphis and San Antonio was really inspiring, and I want to give my readers something interesting to read. I hope Adam doesn’t try to act like the real David Stern, who came across as holier than thou. The Pacers hope to be crowned champions like LeBron James. I am very happy with my NBA basketball. This is a whole new idea that the NBA should be proud of, by allowing teams who don’t have a winning record to have hope.
