In Golden Knights territory, apparently the Minnesota Wild wanted to grab first blood, and they used a little talked about a player who doesn’t get the credit for being on the Wild, and taking a walk on the wild side. Joel Erickson Ek scored the winning goal in overtime on Sunday afternoon, which gave the Wild a leg up on the not so Golden Knights. There was a chink in their armor that the Golden Knights couldn’t recover from. The shot melted a Fleury who the Golden Knights counted on to help in the playoffs. His name is Marc Andre Fleury, and he used to be with the Penguins, where he was an all star. But on Sunday afternoon, he was a sieve boy, which made me very happy. The Golden Knights need to make a change in net, but the Wild should stay with the same goalie, Cam Talbot. If the Wild want a shot at Stanley, they need to ride a goalie that is hot.
