On the day when David Price was supposed to be the story with the Tigers, his teammates didn’t help him out. The offense was anemic. Alex Cobb was lights out and almost channeled David Price, even though he settled down and retired 23 straight batters. Even though the Tigers were anemic on this day, they managed to take three out of four and still remain one and a half behind the Royals for first place in the American League Central and are tied in the Wild Card.
