The television voice of the Minnesota Twins is quiet in Bismarck this summer, due to Bally Sports allegedly being bankrupt. Yours truly will make an effort to find out if Midcontinent is ever going to get Bally Sports back. It’s not the fault of the Twins that Bally is bankrupt. Something has to be done so that we have the voices of summer back. For now, I’m fine listening on the radio to Atteberry and Gladden, but it would be nice to have Provus and Morney back. Especially for those of us who like watching Twins baseball on the television.
I am going to Target Field on August 9 to watch game one of a double header versus the Guardians. I will try my best to introduce myself to Audra Martin and Justin Morneau, and ask if I can get somebody to make an effort to get a hold of Midcontinent, to see if they have another sports network going in to where Bally Sports used to be.
