Bismarck, ND – After only getting two points from the defending champions over the weekend, the Bobcats’ record fell to six and seven. We visited with the leader of the Bismarck Bobcats before the team headed into round number two of the Titan Machinery Dakota Cup against the Aberdeen Wings, with a chance to take a two to none lead in this year’s battle for the Titan Machinery Dakota Cup.
One of Layne’s wishes is to be in the top three by Christmas time, and he feels like that is possible with the veterans that the Cats have in the locker room. Layne feels like the Cats are moving in the right direction, but their power play needs to improve. He would like to be in the top three, and have a more consistent team.
Bismarck, ND – After only being able to get one win, the six year bench boss of the Bobcats appeared upbeat, on Wednesday morning, when he met staff writer Jeremiah Boyce at the VFW Sports center, before the team takes off for a one game weekend in Aberdeen, SD. There they will face their arch rivals the Aberdeen Wings. Despite having a record of six and seven, Sedevie was pretty positive with the staff writer. He told the media that he believes the cats are going in the right direction. Layne would like to be in the top three at Christmas time, because it will give them a shot at winning the central division.
First thing’s first, the cats must take care of the wings, and even their record at seven and seven, which is clearly obtainable. The Bobcats can control their own destiny if they can come out of the Aberdeen game with a win.
