The Wild have a chance to sweep the defending NHL champions. After a weekend where the Wild went into the United Center and defeated the champs 5-3, they now have a chance to sweep the defending champs at home. You have to love that, Wild fans, after what Chicago did to us one year ago, sweeping through the series like a hurricane and blowing their way to the top. I am wearing the Wild jersey as I am writing this article. You have to be impressed with the Wild’s ability to play hockey this year! Who would have imagined that I would be writing a story like this? The credit has to go to Mike Yeo. The Wild’s ability to out work the Hawks is in every phase of the game. This is something special Wild fans! I think St. Paul is going to love what I have to say next. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Don’t forget to turn your TV on at 6:30pm Central time for the Wild Drive pre-game program, and then the face off will start at 7pm. Your exclusive coverage will be with Anthony LaPanta and Mike from Fox Sports. You can also check back here in the morning for a post game story on the Hawks and Wild.
