Atlanta, GA. Even though the Braves were on the road last night in Houston at Minute Made Orange Juice Park, that didn’t matter. After having the series lead paired in half, the chief Baker, Dusty Baker, couldn’t bake a winning recipe. Instead, it was Brian Snitker who would lead Atlanta to a World Series title. The MVP of the series was Jorge Soler, who spotted the Braves a 4-0 lead on Sunday night, before the Astros came back to ruin Atlanta’s party 9-5. Soler used to play for the Chicago Cubs, along with Chris Bryant. And then there’s Everyday Eddie Rosario, who used to be part of the bomba squad in Minnesota, and who was MVP in the National League championship series. It was nice to hear about Rosario and Soler both getting MVP awards. They were instrumental in getting the Braves not one but two trophies. There’s only one reigning World Series champion, and next year, that will be the Atlanta Braves all season long. Enjoy your parade, Atlanta, but please be responsible and have fun with the boys of Summer.
