Ohio State vs. the Longhorns. This might not be Florida vs. Oklahoma, but it is a chance for Texas to prove to the bloated BCS why they should be #1.
The BCS is saturated with too many bowl games. They should go to a playoff system in college football, then they could have an outright national championship. None of this AP and coaches pole stuff. There isn’t two winners in the NFL is there? The last time the Sheriff checked there wasn’t a regular SuperBowl Champion and an AP Champion.
College football is all about the money; it’s not about love for the game. If Texas wins tonight, we are going to get a lot of talk about who should be the real national champion.
Should it be the Heisman winning Sam Bradford or the #1 team currently, Florida? Florida earned the right to play in Thursday night’s national championship by rolling out the previously undefeated Tide.
