You normally hear a raucous noise in Progressive Field, but the boys from Minnesota got their 80th win last night, and tied the series at one. Willi Castro hit a big bomb in the 8th inning last night that put the Twins up 4-1. The Twins wouldn’t be denied a win on this night. The Guardians have a magic number of 2, but Willi said no you don’t, Cleveland. Not on my watch. Cole Sands got the win for Minnesota, while Griffin Jax shut them down in relief like the military Captain that he is.
Tonight, Bailey Ober has the ball for the Twins, while Tanner Bibee has the ball for the Guardians. Ober has pitched super for the Twins all season long, so I expect nothing but strike three all night long. I expect Ober to go 7 innings, and that means leave him alone, Rocco! If you don’t, something is going to get broken in the Twins dugout.
