I told you the last time these two teams met that I wasn’t very impressed with how Major League Baseball and their umpires handled the mess in Detroit. That whole mess was started by Chris Sale in the first place. I think that both pitchers should have been warned when they were throwing the balls, because you do not aim for someone’s head. I am not condoning what both teams did! First of all you are grown men, and second of all it’s just a game. I’m waiting to see how the Tigers pitching staff handles themselves in this series. If Verlander and Sale are pitching against each other, I would expect both of the pitchers to have some memory of that day, but then again this is a grown up game and I would expect both of those gentlemen to behave themselves. Anything less than the pitchers and hitters behaving themselves would be a shame. The teams made a mockery of themselves in Detroit with how they played.
