There is one name that hasn’t won yet, and I think that person will be out for blood this weekend, and that would be your six time champion Jimmie Johnson. The longer he goes without a win, the more the pressure mounts on him. And I think it’s the same way with Tony Stewart. There are several drivers that can drive without any pressure on them and they are Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. If you look at what happened at Phoenix last week, then you would know that Dale Earnhardt Jr, ran out of fuel, but still finished in second place. Why do I think that Jimmie and Chad are under pressure? It’s because they have a target on their back and everybody is gunning for them. Top fives are not going to do it for Jimmie anymore, you have to win races. So far Jimmie, and Chad have a zero by their names. It is still early in the season, so they still have a chance and I wouldn’t count them out just yet. It should be interesting to listen to PRN today and find out who will get the pole, and also find out who will deliver the groceries at the front of the field for the Food City 500 on Sunday.
