After being dormant all day on Sunday, giving the hapless Vikings a shot that they would later not have, and working with a patched-up defense and offense, the Indianapolis Colts (led by today’s Johnny Unitas) showed the doormats of the NFL why Peyton Manning and the Colts are the greatest team ever. Manning led the Colts on a drive that would take the heart out of the woebegone Vikings and leave the Metrodome in mourning like it was the Vikings’ funeral. After being down 15-0, Peyton “Unitas” Manning went on a gallop that would show the Colts’ fans why we love our Peyton. Never count Peyton out until the clock is out of time.
