For the Bismarck Bobcats, this year has been spent looking like Robertson Cup champs, but on Friday and Saturday they did not perform like champs. They were a step slow in every facet of the game. Every play seemed to be a shot and a goal for Aberdeen. If you are Garrett Roth, this weekend shows you that even champions can play a step slow and get swept because of it. The Wings are now even closer to Bismarck than they were when the series started. The Bobcats need to do a lot of soul searching before the fourth place Shamrocks invade the den on Friday and Saturday night, both at 7:15. I expect the Bobcats to come out physically and lay a body on the Shamrocks. There are two kinds of hockey, stupid and smart. This is not an attack on Garrett Roth, it’s more at the 18-20 year old veterans who need to lead the team in the right direction. Namely, Gianni Davita, who was here when the Bobcats were given the Robertson Cup last year. I don’t give a darn about the fourth place Shamrocks, I give a darn about where this season is headed.
