In a Northern suburb of Dallas, the Bison are looking for their ninth national title since 2011. This time, the wheels on the bus will go into the end zone for a touchdown, and in the words of Jeff Culhane, “get in there, baby!” I expect Quincy Patterson to be the starting quarterback for the Bison on January 8 when Bozeman and Fargo collide. Or maybe a sophomore from Solon Iowa named Cam Miller. It’s the Montana State Bobcats and the Bison for your FCS national championship. You can also put this in the bank, that the Bobcats and the Bison will have trick plays for each other. Three weeks is way too long to wait. If your school makes it, they ought to play the game right away and get it over with. But I guess if you really look at it, the FCS is a whole different animal, and sometimes I don’t agree with they way they run their league. Missouri Valley Conference commissioner Patty Viverito deserves an A plus. I like the Valley and the brand of football that they play, because each week is like a playoff week. And if you have two losses, no playoffs for you! I would also like to say if you have a coach named Matt Entz, you are going to Fargo South and you might as well claim your ninth title. But it’s too early to tell.
