Alexandria, MN
For the Bismarck Bobcats, the one thing they did not want was a game #5 in Bismarck. April winds bring May nationals! For the second straight year the Bismarck Bobcats have earned the right to play for a National Championship in Wenatchee, WA. Last year they had to go five games against Owatonna to get to Nationals in Mason City, IA, this year only took three games. The Blizzard played a very strong series but in the end the Bismarck Bobcats were the team of destiny. This is a team that is built to challenge anybody for hockey’s royal throne. Here is your scoring recap. It would be Bismarck who’d tally first with a goal by #14 Trent Johnson. Then the Bobcats would follow that up with some more strong plays, one with a goal by #12 Ryan Jacobson, making the score 2-0. The Cats would score a key goal, by #7 Casey Kleisinger, which would drive a stake in the heart of Alexandria. The Blizzard would milk a small flurry scoring one goal in the third period, but the night belonged to the Bobcats, who are the team on top of the Central! The Bobcats do not know who they will challenge in the first round of National Tournament play at the Town Toyota Center. Stayed tuned for all your national coverage right here on your website, home of the two-time Central Division Champions, the Bismarck Bobcats!
