Bismarck Bobcats Assistant Coach Garrett Roth was available to talk to the Sheriff’s Patrol this morning where we talked about what went down after Head Coach Layne Sedevie was sent to the locker room on Saturday evening in the second period versus the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. It was mainly an effort for Roth to get the players focused again after Sedevie exited the Bobcats bench for the rest of the game. He also told the Sheriff’s Patrol that the boys are having a good week of practice for their upcoming games on the road this weekend against the 1-4 Minnesota Wilderness in an NAHL Central Division clash.
Roth also mentioned that the players know that we were not happy with their effort this past weekend, especially at the start of the game with being focused. We need to be ready to respond right away and hopefully we can take the Wilderness fans out of the game early in a hostile environment. We have to move our feet better with playing in a larger rink.
Captain Jared Resseguie who is from Arvada, Colorado said that we can’t take the Wilderness lightly from their performance in the Showcase two weeks ago. We need to be ready for them this weekend despite their current record.
