Purdue will face Ohio State at Ross Aide Stadium October 14, as well as the annual Old Oaken Bucket game against IU on November 25 also at home. The Boilers will open the home portion of the Purdue football schedule on Saturday September 2 against Fresno State. Purdue went 8-6 overall last year before getting annihilated by LSU 63-7 in the Cheez-it Citrus Bowl. A lot has changed since the Boilers were defeated handily by the Tigers. Jeff Brohm is now at his alma mater, Louisville. Ryan Walters is the new engineer at the head of the train. He could take the Boilers to another Big Ten West title. But a lot would have to go right under the first year regime of Ryan Walters. I am looking forward to football season, and hopefully a West title like we had last year under Brohm.
