Hampton, Georgia. Aric Almirola was on the pole for Sunday night’s action in the Quaker State 400. The 39 year old from Tampa Bay, Florida captured the pole on Saturday. William Byron won a rain shortened race, and now has four wins to his credit. The series now moves on to New Hampshire on Sunday afternoon for the Crayon 301. There are seven races remaining until the playoffs. Byron, driver of the number 24, is a clear challenger for the championship to Joey Logano and the rest of the field. Byron is from Charlotte, North Carolina and his crew chief is Rudy Fugle. He hopes to color a win in New Hampshire.
