When you are the World Champions, everybody knows what that means, and what it symbolizes. The Atlanta Braves were the best team in baseball in 2021, but 2022 has yet to determined. With Freddie Freeman now gone, the Braves still have plenty of firepower, including former Minnesota Twin Eddie Rosario. Today, at Truist Park, the Braves were seeing red, and had to fight from behind all day. The Reds were hitting bombs off Atlanta pitching. Before they could look up, it was a five run third inning. That did the Braves in, and the final score was 6-3. The Braves’ record is now 2-2. After receiving their World Championship hardware on Saturday night, the two teams split the series. The Braves now await the Washington Nationals, who are coming in to play the World Champions at 6:20 on Monday, April 11.
