Going into the semi-finals, the Midgets were looking to defend, until they ran into a legendary coach and a team that was loaded with talent.   The first half was like a boxing match going pound for pound and jab for jab.  In the second half, however, the Midgets turned into the smaller team and Bismarck High walked off the floor with a win.  Steve Miller gets another game to add to BHS’ rich history.  Ryan Malm, who was interviewed by this very sight yesterday, had a huge blow-up game and helped the Demons KO the Midgets scoring 19 points.  He wasn’t the only one that wanted a piece of the title.  Luke Martinez had a Kobe Bryant like game, firing from inside and outside, and taking a piece of the Midgets’ heart whenever he wanted.  He scored his uniform number (25 points).  When the carnage was over it was the devilish bunch who emerged with another notch in their belt.  Final score: Demons – 76, Midgets – 54.
