Hello, Tigers fans. I would like to welcome you guys back to Jeremiahboyce.com once again for exclusive Tigers coverage. Today was my first opportunity to cover the new look Tigers under Brad Ausmus, and the Tigers are not going to win many baseball games by scoring only two lousy runs! I know that they had won eight straight games, but Houston is a team that the Tigers were supposed to be able to beat down to a pulp. How in the world did the Houston Astros of all people get away with scoring six runs? Also, how was a team that doesn’t have many wins at all allowed to come in and win a game in the jungle? I still think a lot of the credit goes to the Tigers front office in a way, because they selected a manager who replaced Jim Leyland. I think they that they made a good decision. If you would have told me that the Tigers would be 20 wins and 10 losses right now, I would have probably said you might be right, or you might be a little off. Nobody knows going into a first year with a new manager. So far, I think that Brad is doing a good job at picking up where Jim left off. All that matters now is can you get the Tigers into October?
