Earlier in March, Brett Favre gave a teary goodbye to the Green Bay Packers nation.  Now, in the middle of July, he wants to take everything that he said back.  You knew this would happen sports fans, Favre would get the itch to play and now he wants his job back.  He told Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren late Monday night that the Packers wanted an honest answer and he gave them an honest answer, and that he was thinking about making a comeback.  When she asked if he filed any official retirement papers, Favre replied, “No.”  He also said that it didn’t bother him that the Packers wanted to go in another direction.  I’m reading between the lines.  You want the real truth?  He just wants the fame and glory of being a NFL QB again.  He wants to hear people cheering for him and he wants more money.  All he cares about is himself.  Your wife has cancer and you’ve got an 8 year old kid who wants to see daddy everyday.  She doesn’t want to have daddy not be able to pick her up because of injuries.  Brett, you should have bowed out gracefully, but instead we’re still hearing about you.  I’m sick of hearing Brett Favre this, Brett Favre that.  I want to push you behind and focus on the real NFL players.
