Even though his car is not black, the 48 cometitors might as well call him Jimmie Earnhardt, because for the last four years he has had a strangle hold on the Sprint Cup trophy. Going into Avondale, he holds a 53 point lead against Matt Kenseth. Can anybody cool him off? We haven’t even reached the chase! They might as well rename the chase for the cup the “40 Chase.” The defending champion of last years chase was Jimmie Johnson.
