It was an entertaining saturday night at Bristol when Tony was having trouble with his radio. The crew could hear Tony but he couldn’t hear the crew. He finished 33rd. The 33rd place finish cut into his points lead. He now leads Jimmie Johnson by only 220 points with Jeff Gordon falling to third place. Atlanta is next for the Pep Boys 500 which will be held over Labor Day weekend on Sunday night. The defending champion in the Pep Boys 500 is Carl Edwards. The Race for the Chase is drawing closer, only two races remain before the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship. Can the number 48 get a fourth championship and tie Jeff Gordon?
