Washington D.C. The top seeded Indiana University Hoosiers faced the fourth seeded Syracuse Orange on Thursday, March 28th in Washington D.C. The Hoosiers were trying to peel the orange like they did in 1987 at the national championship in New Orleans. This was also a homecoming for Indiana’s Victor Oladipo from Upper Marlboro, MD. Oladipo created memories this season Hoosier fans will remember forever, like when he knocked down Michigan in the regular season. Whoever drafts Oladipo, if he plays in the NBA, will receive a nice present. But the Orange had other ideas on Thursday. I don’t want to hear the Hoosiers are not a good team because they were defeated in the Sweet Sixteen by Syracuse. Let’s look at the positives throughout the season. The Hoosiers received the Big 10 title for the first time in 20 years. The Hoosiers have nothing to cry about, they have many accomplishments to be proud of this season. In my opinion, Hoosiers head coach, Tom Crean, is the coach of the year. I can’t wait until next year, Hoosier hysteria will be fun!
