Comerica Park was supposed to be a friendly environment for the Tigers; everything self-destructed. It started when Russell Branyan was able to pick on a Jeremy Bonderman pitch and then he got all of it. At the time, Seattle was only up 4-1. It was a Russell Branyan three run bomb that hurt the Tigers. What was worse yet, that began a sea of home plate umpire ejections. Instead of being good representatives in front of the Tiger fans, Jeremy Bonderman chose to act like a minor leaguer . That led to more minor league behavior by the Detroit Pussy Cats and Bonderman’s battery mate, Gerald Laird, began making a fuss from the Detroit dugout and they were both told to, “hit the road jack, and don’t come back no ‘mo!”. Jim Leland, if I were you, I would not want your job!
The last time I checked Detroit, Michigan wasn’t a minor league city. It is supposed to be a big league, major league, city. If people at Comerica want to go to a minor league ball game they can get in their cars and drive to Toledo,Ohio.
