Tonight is a very important night for the Big 10 as a conference, with Purdue unable to paint a national championship. I am not a Hawkeye fan, but I am a big fan of Juwan Howard and the “Mee-chigan” Wolverines. I think they are the only hope for the Big 10 to deliver a title. As far as my home town is concerned, I wish we could have seen Villanova and Purdue, but the Boilers didn’t boil the right way. They should have had team unity, which I think was a big key to why they lost to the Mean Green of North Texas. Hope springs eternal that Jeff Brohm and the Boiler football team will come out rosy and win the Big 10 a Rose Bowl title.
As far as Michigan is concerned, I think they will be able to defeat LSU tonight, because they have team unity. I am wearing my shirt that says Go Blue, so come on, Ann Arbor, do not let this website down, because I am already down about Purdue, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Shame on you guys, because you let the Midwest cry in their beer, and so I have the perfect song in my head for tonight, “Hail to the Victors.” I want to be able to hum that song and celebrate a win for the Midwest, because Illinois and Wisconsin played like total garbage yesterday. How dare you let this writer down? On Wisconsin, I don’t think so! Illinois, you’re supposed to be the number one seed, and you looked anything but that yesterday! I would like to thank the city of Ann Arbor for their sports radio station, 1050 The Ticket. And I would also like to thank the city of Detroit for 97.1 The Ticket. I will be listening to the Brian Boesch and Terry “General” Mills call on the Michigan Sports Network, courtesy of 1050 The Ticket. The first key we are going to talk about is boxing out, and playing a scrappy brand of basketball. Key number two, as always, make your doggone charity stripe throws. Number three, play like Wolverines and when you have three point opportunities, look for a teammate and swing the ball side to side and show them the SEC means nothing.
