Why would the Twins, after losing 99 ballgames a year ago, invite Ron Gardenhire back? It would seem you would be setting yourself up for another long summer in the Twin Cities. Terry Ryan, I am not in your office, but I don’t see what you see in the man Ron Gardenhire, but if you want to keep going on the losing path, he’s your man. The people who work around you like Dan Gladden and Corey Provus have to be sick of covering a losing baseball team. It all starts with the manager. You had a chance to make a statement in a positive way, and you didn’t. How are the Twins supposed to draw in fans and revenue when the product they put on the field is error-prone? I pity the Twins fans who spend their money on that team, because who wants to watch a losing team? You have to be impressed with the way the Twins were able to battle the Tribe and win a series against a powerhouse baseball team. Tomorrow they go home and see TC and their fans for the first time this year against Oakland. There is always hope that the Twins may make it to the World Series, but I have my doubts.
