Miami, Florida. Pacers fans, let’s face it, you have to give credit where credit is due. Eric looked like he is on his way to another championship series against the Spurs. I think it is going to be another disappointing year for everyone, including my friend Mark Boyle, Slick Leonard, Kevin Lee, and Mike O’ Grady. While I would like to think that the Pacers have a shot at home, I could tell in Mark Boyle’s voice last night that he was clearly disappointed, because he said it looked like the Pacers have given up. I hope I am wrong tomorrow night. The Pacers need to show me that they want to play a game six on Thursday and a game seven on June first. That would be nice to hear Mark in Miami on the day before my birthday. If the Pacers can beat the Heat this Sunday, I would take it as an early birthday present, and be one happy Pacers fan. I wish Boyle could be a little more positive, because I think the Pacers can still do it, but it will take a big time effort. Like their effort in Atlanta, and in Washington.
