For the Indiana Pacers fans, this summer was long and painful. Now the Pacers have added some new blood. Any time you lose to the Heat is always painful, especially when it is in the East finals. The addition to the front office is the hick from French Lick. Yes, Larry Bird is back as the Pacers President of the Basketball Operations, and Frank Vogel is back as head coach of the blue and gold. Here are some new players that used to be notable enemies. The first player that I would like to bring to your attention is Chris Copeland. I think that was a nice job putting him in blue and gold. Way to go Larry. I think the players this year are capable of acting like champions. It’s amazing what a year away from the game will do for you, especially when you are only able to watch it on TV. Will Larry and Donny’s hard work deliver a title to those of us who are hungry? When can we join our women counterparts the Indiana Fever? I’m not promising a championship, but I am hoping to get something that has been missing since Slick Leonard was a coach back in the ABA days. That was also before the Pacers joined the NBA. Will this be the year that the boys from the heartland get their hands on an NBA championship? Tonight will be the first chapter in what Jeremiah hopes will be a championship run.
